Meadows 8" Stone Burr Mills
The Meadows 8" Stone Burr Mill, or grist mill, will grind any dry, free flowing substance. The 8" stone burr mill is available in five configurations, the assembly A, the assembly B, the assembly C, a hand-operated configuration, or you may purchase the 8" stone burr mill only. When purchasing the 8" stone burr mill only you will be responsible for providing a wooden base or steel table, the electric motor with power cord, and the belt drive with belt guard.
Although the 8" stone burr mill was originally designed for use by small millers and bakers to grind wheat into whole wheat flour and corn into corn meal, our customers have found a myriad of uses for this light commercial/household mill. Typically the 8" stone burr mill is capable of grinding any dry, free-flowing substance that has moisture content less than 15% and is relatively free of natural oil. The 8" stone burr mill is a versatile mill that may be used in the home, in small bakeries, and small milling operations or laboratories. The 8" stone burr mill is capable of coarsely grinding approximately 50 pounds per hour of wheat or 100 pounds per hour of corn. For those who desire rich wholesome flour or corn meal the Meadows stone burr mill is the perfect fit. The 8" stone burr mills are shipped by common carrier, crated and fully assembled, and include a parts list and operator's instructions or you may download a copy of the parts list and operator's instructions here.

Meadows 8" Stone Burr Mill The 8" stone burr mill is mounted on the upper portion of the wooden frame. The ground product falls from the grinding stones into the 6-quart capacity drawer. The drawer can be easily removed for removal of your flour or for cleaning. The 1-hp electric motor is mounted on the lower portion of the wooden frame. A guard covers the belt drive. The 1-hp electric motor is mounted next to the stone burr mill on the top of the table. A guard covers the belt drive. The dimensions of the Assembly C are 34" (length) x 32" (width) x 57" (height).
