Carriage Frame

• Constructed from 4" x 8" x 1/4" wall tube

• 10" diameter wheels, one hex and one flat

Husk Frame

• 92" (length) x 48" (width) constructed from 12" steel channel
• Mandrel constructed from 2 15/16" diameter turned ground and polished steel with 8" diameter saw collars
• Dodge S-2000 self aligning pillow block bearing nearest saw
• Dodge Type E pillow block bearing in rear
• Meadows saw guide with remote adjustments
• May accommodate saw diameters up to 60"
• Meadows hydrostatic feed, may be driven from the mandrel or mounted under the sawyer's cab and driven with a 50-hp electric motor
• Meadows hydraulic power source with oil cooler, tank and filters controls all carriage functions, log turner, and live log deck
• Oil tank heater available
• Optional outboard bearing mount will add a second Dodge Type E pillow block bearing

Cable Drive

• 9/16" diameter, 6 x 36 composition pre-formed steel cable with fiber center
• 14" diameter cable drum with 24" face and 2 7/16" diameter cable drum shaft for hydraulic sawmills
• 10" diameter cable drum with 22" face and 2 3/16" cable drum shaft for handset sawmills
• 15" diameter sheave wheels with fabricated steel base and cover standard on hydraulic or handset sawmills

• For handset sawmills the Meadows LTI setworks is available

Track Frame

• 10" I-beam mainframe with 10" I-beam track sills and mud sills
• Inside rail of 2" cold drawn square bar (closest to saw)
