New Meadows 2-Saw Vertical Edger
Meadows
2-saw vertical edger with double-keyed 2 15/16" diameter mandrel.
Includes 40-hp 3-phase 1,800-rpm electric motor direct coupled to the
mandrel. The edger includes two independently shifting saw collars with
22" diameter inserted tooth saws.

New Meadows Top Saw
Meadows top saw driven with 30-hp 3-phase 1,800-rpm
electric motor. Includes complete belt drive with belt guard and 30"
F pattern inserted tooth saw. The mandrel for the top Saws is 2 3/16"
diameter turned ground and polished with 5" diameter saw collars, and
employ two Dodge S2000 4-bolt bearings. Unless otherwise requested the top
saws is set to run with a 56" head saw.

Meadows Live Log Decks
Meadows live log decks are standard with 20' strands constructed from 4" x
8" mechanical tubing, 4" channel is used as a guide for the chains and
is lined with 1/2" x 3" UHMW wear strip, the cross sills are
constructed from 6" x 20 lb. beams, the chains are constructed using WR-78
chain, the stop-and-load pivots by a single 2" x 12" hydraulic
cylinder, the drive is a Tulsa HG-23 reducer with a Charlyn hydraulic motor
plugged directly into the reducer, the head shaft is 2 7/6" diameter.
Nose skids and nose skid hangers are included with each live log deck. The
standard length of Meadows live log deck including the strands, the
stop-and-load, and the nose skids with hangers is 25' 4 3/4".
